Do Indian nationals require a visa to Israel? If so, is it available upon arrival?

Indian nationals do require a visa to visit Israel, getting a visa depends on where you are traveling from, if it's from the GCC then make sure you don't get your passport chopped or else you would not be enter the GCC again. The Israeli Embassy in Delhi issues visas, I have travelled several times to Israel from Dubai but not had my passport chopped when entering Israel. The Israeli Embassy in Amman, Jordan issues visas too for very special cases. Bit tough but possible! over 6 years ago

What are the best places to visit in jordan?

Agree with the places above, do Petra over two days if possible, you will enjoy it more. I have just returned after a week in Jordan. Aqaba is a great place to be in as well, a little warm at this time of the year but has some great resorts on the waterfront on the road to Saudi a short drive away. You also get to see Egypt and Israel across the Red Sea (Gulf of Aqaba). over 6 years ago

How easy is the border crossing from Jordan to Israel?

I am from Asia live in the Middle East and have done this thrice. It can be a bit intimidating to normal tourists because of tight security procedures and checks at different points. As long as one is patient and tolerant and understands why such checks are required I see no problem. But do keep in mind it can take anywhere from an hour to two to get through security/immigration and on the other side. Go ahead and make the crossing!! over 6 years ago
