Chicago, United States
How much do you want to spend and do you want to be close to the lake? There are several popular neighborhoods...I have never been a fan of downtown and in the midst of the skyscrapers as I feel there are much more quaint and unique areas to live. Old town and Lincoln Park are both good for trendy and near the lake but can be expensive. Buck town has been "up and coming" for quite some time and has a great central area for shopping and restaurants. Lots of byob! Lived in Chicago five years. Of course there are tons of places to live but those are my top picks and all are close to the el or highway. over 8 years ago
I am going to Chicago and would like some specific suggestions on things to do and see. Beyond museums, food etc.
Lincoln park zoo is nice and free and close to North Ave beach where you can get drinks, layout, play volleyball, etc over 8 years ago
