Is mid november still ok for a caribean cruise ? How ill the weather be at that time ? And will we be able to swim ?

I have cruised in Oct and Nov and the Caribbean was great. Florida was too cold in Dec though! St. Maarten was too chilly to swim in Dec but it was a wet overcast day, some people were swimming though. I would plan for between high 70s and mid 80s. over 6 years ago

We are planning to go there from October 30 till Novemver 6 2011. Is it safe to go there?

Do you mean by safe hurricanes? The season will be ending by then, so you should be fine..always a chance for a stray tropical storm - but that is why they make travel insurance. over 6 years ago

We are wanting to take a cruise to the Caribbean this fall. Looking for recommendations as to cruise line (and ship) and itinerary.

That really depends on 3 main factors: budget (some have more amenities that others), itinerary (what you want to see and do), and your personal taste and preferences. I think each cruise line has something to offer different clients. One of my clients LOVES being pampered for 10 days every year and will pay for the spa suites on a Celebrity, other friends are Disney collectors and fans and would not consider any other cruise line, and some of my younger family clients have a more limited budget but can get out on a Carnival every few years. With kids, I love Disney and I hate getting on a cruise ship for any less than 7 days because anything else seems too short. I love the Western Caribbean and would move to Grand Cayman Island given a choice - with my husband leaning towards Turks and Caicos. Happy to help if you have more specific questions. over 6 years ago

Which cruise line is the most family fun.besides Disney.

Depends where you are going, the age of your kids, and your budget..the other 3 in US and North American Ports I would recommend - Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, and Carnival. Each has its pros and cons, and some ships in each fleet are older than others, but all have decent family and childcare programs available. Happy to help you more if you have other questions. over 6 years ago

What are the best beaches in North Carolina?

Topsail Beach! My family has been going there since the military stopped testing bombs on it after WWII ... of course it has grown up a bit, but it is a wonderful family beach! over 6 years ago

What to do in Mexico with kids?

Do you have a preference w/which coast? I've stayed on both and there are some good resorts on both sides, with plenty to do. I usually either recommend staying in a resort with families, then exploring. Puerto Vallarta is one of my favorite places in the West side of Mexico and probably Cancun on the East... if you let me know which way you are leaning I can direct you better. over 6 years ago
