What should I put on my must see itinerary for Paris?

The Louvre; Eiffel Tower; Arc de Triomphe; Musee d'Orsay; the Chapel at St. Chappelle; Notre Dame Cathedral; a bateau mouche cruise at night; Sacre Cruer in Montmartre; a jazz club in St. Germaine des Pres; sampling food in all the neighborhoods; strolling along the Seine and looking for posters/books/cards in the bookinistes stalls. about 4 years ago

Could someone recommend a hotel to stay in Barcelona? I'm more interested in location, service, food, and experience then price.

In Barcelona apartments are more often used rather than hotels because 1) you have more space, 2) they are in all of the key districts of the city, 3) you get more of a sense of being a resident than a tourist, and 4) they're cheaper. Some options: Gallery Hotel, if you absolutely must have a hotel; for apartments: http://www.passeigdegracia115.com/ http://barcelonahotelreviews.blogspot.com.es/2013/06/hostal-bella-lola-barcelona-spain.html http://www.eplivingbarcelona.es/ about 4 years ago

How is Disneyland in Paris? Worth a visit?

EuroDisney is not actually in Paris, but about 35 Km outside, but easily accessible by train or car. If you have children, or are still one at heart, it is definitely worth going. over 4 years ago

How many days to see Barcelona Spain?

Barcelona can be "seen" in 3 days or "experienced" over years. The richness of its history and culture should not be compressed just to say you "saw" it. You should allow a minimum of 4 days to hit the high points of the city, but more is better. over 4 years ago

Travelling in Paris by car, they have a rules in round about or in the cross road like GIVE WAY to other users?thanks

In Paris, you need to be both a defensive and aggressive driver. The first time I drove around the Arc de Triomphe, it took three circuits before I could navigate to the street I needed. There are no specific right-of-way rules, just use common sense and a bit of courtesy. almost 5 years ago

    Paris in December

If you like jazz, there's the Club Bilboquet, off the Place St. Germain des Pres, that's perfect for an evening that could have been set in the movie, "Paris Blues". On the Isle St. Louis, there's an excellent bistro just over the bridge from the back of Notre Dame Cathedral for dinner, then stroll the streets and check out the shops, plus ice cream at Berthillon. I always enjoy walking along the Seine looking for old photographs and drawings at the bookinistes stands and then stopping at one of the wine bars along the way. about 5 years ago

Off to barcelona this weekend, any suggestions for accessible place to stay and which are the best places to see?

Apartments are they way to go for accommodations; often cheaper than hotels with more space and a sense of "living" there. Two recommendations: http://www.passeigdegracia115.com/ http://www.eplivingbarcelona.es/ Key places: the Museum of the History of Cataluna at the Palau de Mar; one of the best in the world and you'll understand more of Barcelona from pre-historic times to today. Plus, it's right by the marina and in the Barcelonetta area near the beach and great restaurants. Sagrada Familia is a must see, as is Tibidabo with the church and amusement park. Placa Espanya will give you entree to the National Museum, the Miro Foundacion, the artesan village of Poble Espanya and the sights of Montjuic. As to La Rambla, it's OK if you like Times Square in NYC, otherwise it's a tourist mob scene and haven for pickpockets. La Boqueria is interesting, but I'd visit Palau de la Musica instead. about 5 years ago
