What is the weather like in New York in the begin of November?

Bring some warm clothes, but not excessive. It's going to be chilly but if you catch a sunny day, the temperature will be delightfully comfortable! about 6 years ago

looking for curious and unusual stuff to do in Manhattan

If you take the 6 train in the downtown direction and stay in the train after the last stop, you can see a secret stop! One that hasn't been functioning for years now, but that the train goes through as it loops to go back uptown. Architectonically and historically speaking, the place is a gem! about 6 years ago

Is is ok to sunbathe nude in Barcelona?

There are certain areas where people go sunbathe naked, just look around. If there are other naked people in the area you are safe, if the most you see are some topless women keep moving, topless sunbathing is admissible in Spain as a general rule. There are also lots of other nudist beaches in the Catalan coast! about 6 years ago

What is the best way of getting to a Barcelona game? Are these tickets for sale in the city. barca fc website not user friendly

The best way to get to the game is to take the green subway line (3), and get off in the Les Corts stop. It's only a 5-10 minute walk. If you ask, people will point you in the right direction (it's a straight walk), but on a game night all you have to do is follow the crowd. about 6 years ago

I've been planning a gap year to China and India for a while. If you had to pick just one, which would it be? Why?

I agree with Original Nomad, either one of them would be perfect for a long trip, and they are very comparable due to size and population. I am also not going to tell you which I think you should visit since that is very much your own personal choice, but I would recommend you read up on their cultures and traditions and go to whichever attracts you the most. No matter where you go, eat at the local places and try to meet locals. It will give you a very different insight on their culture, since dealing with the crowds can give you a bad first impression (in over-crowded countries in Asia, people are typically not very considerate in public, but their attitude changes radically when they meet you on a more personal level - you are now someone with a name as opposed to one of thousands that roam the streets daily.) about 6 years ago

What is the difference betewen 1st class travel on a train in India and 2nd class (conditions and cost)?

If you are traveling local you are better off traveling in 2nd class because there really isn't much difference for the price you pay, but traveling long distance it's a good idea to travel 1st class if you can afford it, 1st class is usually air-conditioned and has less people and better food service. about 6 years ago
