Know anything about trekking to EBC in monsoon?

It is not as good as Oct-Dec but mini Everest trek still an amazing and spectacular trek to do. Some time not sure that flight could take over there {Lukla} or not because of the rainy & cloudy on the way...., it would be better if you have several days spare time for. And not much tourist so far {almost Alone}. By the way, in Nepal already started pre monsoon this year since couple of weeks, it means monsoon can be stopped soon because of global changing. I recommend you if you have flexible time and altitude trek , trek to Annapurna circuit where can be visit such a Ice lake and Tilicho lake above Manang which region called rain shadow. For this trek can be drive to Chame then star trek... at night could be not below - {minus}, during the day will be good temperature {18 to 28 +} Have a safe trek! Raju over 4 years ago

    Trekking Langtang Region

Hi there, There you can trek by two routes. One is as LisaF mentioned and another is starts from Dhunche/Syabru benshi then first trek to Kyanjing Gompa and finished at Syabru beshi. It's about Kathmandu to Kathmandu 9/10 days. and above LisaF itinerary takes about 2 weeks and better also.... It is totally tea house trek where you can get food and lodge for night. You do not organize camping/tent trek. But I recommend to hire a guide and porter from registered company... if you need more information, please do not hesitate to leave me private message.... Hi , going to Kathmandu in December , I know it's cold during that time , but is it bitterly cold and unbearabable .?

Last year in Dec was recorded + 4 degree as lowest temperature in Kathmandu valley, if you are going to mountain for trekking then will be minus.... where you are going to visit, just Kathmandu or to trekking too. Raju over 4 years ago
