What is the best places to see wild animals in South Africa.is it safe to drive from Capetown to Durban

The Kruger National Park is a definite however you can see some wildlife in the Eastern Cape at Pumba or Kariega if you're heading down that direction. I would rent a car if you're interested in getting from Cape Town to Durban and drive the Garden Route. Watch out while you're in the Kei Cutting area and as suggested above, try not to drive around at night. Otherwise, it's a beautiful country with lots to see and offer. almost 6 years ago

    Language Barrier in Buenos Aries?

I would suggest taking the basics in a Spanish lesson. Try out Pimms. Although a large number of people speak English in Buenos Aires, you will be received without a lot more generosity if you at least attempt to speak some Spanish. almost 6 years ago

My wife & I will be in Cape Town for 3 weeks in Jan.2016? What is a good area to stay in?

It is quite dependent on your budget. The city centre is fantastic due to its close proximity to everything however it can be quite expensive. There are several outlying areas that can be more convenient, i.e. Stellenbosch - close to the winelands, Blaauwberg - close to the beaches and usually great views of Table Mountain and then Muizenberg - close to Cape Town but "over-the-mountain". Take a look at airbnb.com for some places to stay at and within your price range. Just keep in mind that January will still be peak season, so booking in advance would be advisable. almost 6 years ago
