we are going on a mediterranean cruise in august and several off the cities we are stopping in have the hop on hop off busses.

In my experience those hop-on/hop-off services are expensive. They're also pretty slow as a form of transport, only go to the obvious tourist landmarks and are full of tourists (you're not going to meet any lovals or get a feel for living like a local). Having said that, I have used them when traveling with my young kids, it's an easy way for them to get a first-time experience of a place, especially because there's usually a tourist commentary onboard. But if you're grown-ups, live a little. Work out how to use the local public transport - it's more fun and an adventure in itself. You'll feel really proud of yourself when you've mastered it. 3 days ago

Is it possible to avoid a Check-In because of a Passport Damage?

yea it's tough but passport damage is non-negotiable in most cases. Not your fault, but inconvenient anyway. if you're stuck overseas and insured with World Nomads you could call our Emergency Assistance team and they'll give you advice on getting your passport replaced as soon as possible. 3 days ago

I will be travelling from India to Cambodia via Malaysia with a transit of 15 hrs. I want to exit the airport and go around the city.

Looks like you'll need the eNTRI visa. Check out conditions and terms on the Malaysian Immigration Deprtment site - https://www.windowmalaysia.my/evisa/about.jsp?t=ety&location=india 3 days ago

In which countries do I need International driving permit for car rental ?

We've done a lot of research on this tiopic (because it's important from an insurance persepctive) and Wiki is pretty good on this - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Driving_Permit. However, an IDP is simple to get and not too expensive, so get one anyway. Check out our policy re rental car coverage - https://helpdesk.worldnomads.com/customer/en_us/portal/articles/2658886-is-my-rental-car-covered- And i know it's not a motorbike you're renting, but this article has a lot of info about the IDP and its validity etc, important stuff to know - https://www.worldnomads.com/travel-safety/southeast-asia/malaysia/do-i-need-a-license-to-ride-a-motorbike 3 days ago
