Staying in Todos Santos late August to early September. How rainy is it? What things are there to do in and around the area?

Todos Santos is a quiet town known for it's art community. There are tons of great galleries. Cerritos beach is one of my favorites, but you will need a car to get there. There is a place outside of Todos Santos called Art & Beer; funky little place with the best bloody mary's you will ever have (and they sell some great photography art). Lastly, Cafe Santa Fe is the best restaurant in Todos Santos. Excellent Italian food! Hope this information is helpful! almost 4 years ago

Searching for a safe and secure hostel in Mexico

Hi Daniel, El Encanto Inn, Tropicana or Casa Natalia are great options for backpackers in San Jose del Cabo. They all have private rooms and are located near the town square and should have internet (El Encanto is the only one I am unsure about). If not, internet cafes are all over the town. San Jose is extremely safer (safer than most US cities). Have a great time! If you want excellent taco's go to Rossy's (only about $2 each and incredible)! Julie - Cabovillas.com about 5 years ago

I am going to Cabo in August with my GF and was wondering if there are any nice Restaurants in the area that anyone suggests?

Great food in Cabo with LOTS of options. You can contact me on twitter (@cabojulie) and I can send you a guide with a map showing all locations. Here is a list of my favorites (not in order): 1. Hacienda Cocina (lunch or dinner) 2. Edith's (dinner) 3. The Office (lunch) 4. La Fonda (authentic Mexican) 5. Las Gardenias (lunch only - BEST fish or shrimp tacos for about $2 each) 6. Deckmans at Havana (Mexican with great atmosphere and live music) 7. Fellini's at Pueblo Bonito Rose (Italian - expensive but worth it) 8. DOC Wine Bar (great Italian with wine paring) 9. La Frida at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach (Mexican) 10. Koi Sushi in San Jose 11. Baja Cantina (Breakfast) - 2 locations 12. Baja Brewing Company (dinner) almost 6 years ago
