What are musts in Toronto for a family with 3 boys (10, 13, 16)?

Yes, if they are hockey fans, definitely the Hockey Hall of Fame, which is located in downtown Toronto at Yonge and Front Streets. General admission is $17.50 and Youth admission (4-13) is $11. Riding up to the top of the CN Tower is also exciting. CN Tower admission is Adults (13-64) $27.20 and kids (4-12) $20.40. The CN Tower has introduced an EdgeWalk where you walk around the circumference of the pod; however, it's $185! Not sure what time of year you'll be arriving, but a ferry ride across the lake to Centre Island is fun. You can rent a bike or kayak in the summer. Board the ferry at the bottom of Bay Street. I think they would also enjoy the Ontario Science Centre, which is located about 25 minutes from downtown Toronto at Don Mills Rd. and Eglinton Ave. E. And of course, they would probably enjoy taking in a Toronto Blue Jays Game at Rogers Centre. You can usually get tickets at the Box Office on game day. almost 5 years ago

Where is the best place in Rome, Italy to propose?

Near the Sistine Chapel would be nice. Maybe the Spanish Steps, but it's quite busy there. Congrats! over 5 years ago

Hi there,i will be visiting Toronto for 9 days. Any tips for day trips beside Niagara and Niagara-on-the-falls?won't have a car.

You don't need a car to go to Niagara Falls. You can take Go Transit. You take the train from Union Station and then along the route transfer to a bus to Niagara Falls and it's not that expensive. http://www.gotransit.com/public/en/travelling/seasonal.aspx But, yes, there is so much to do in Toronto and there is an excellent transit system. You can visit Kensington Market for funky and cheap shopping and eats, stroll along hip Queen Street West, head east to the Beaches at Queen and Woodbine, visit the Art Gallery of Ontario at Dundas and McCaul or the Royal Ontario Museum at Bloor Street and Avenue Road or visit High Park for excellent biking and walking trails. I also recommend Centre Island: it's just a ferry ride from Toronto's Harbourfront and you'll find an oasis in the city. You can rent bikes including tandems and in the summer, you can rent a canoe and paddle along the lagoons. Centre Island is a huge green space with beaches and even a kiddie amusement park. Have fun! over 5 years ago

Where i can find coffee bar in Europe style in Toronto? No pub please. Real Europe coffee bar. Small with place for sit.

Try Lit Espresso Bar at 810 College Street (east of Ossington Ave.) It has a warm ambiance with exposed brick and serves espresso, cappuccino and pastries. You could also try La Merceria at 506 Adelaide Street West (east of Bathurst Street). It's small and cozy and they have delicious Argentinian sweets. about 6 years ago
