What can I do on a monday at 8 pm in Buenos Aires?

Hi Katherine, Monday generally isn't the biggest night in Buenos Aires but there a few things you can do. The most obvious one is to see a tango show as there are many around the city and San Telmo. La Esquina is a good one to go to. If your looking for nightlife however I would reccommend heading to Palermo as there are bound to be some bars and restaurants buzzing every night of the week. I highly reccommend La Cabrera on Cabrera st in Palermo. over 7 years ago

What are you top things to see around Cancun?

Hi Julio, There are quite a few things to see around Cancun. One must see is chichen Itza which is around 3-4 hours away but one of the most interesting historical sites in Mexico and has an amazing pyramid. Also Tulum is a must combining ruins with beautiful beaches. Lastly I would reccommend some snorkelling at Xel-Ha which has amazing caves, centoes (natural water caves) and great marine life. Enjoy!! over 7 years ago

Where is the best place to stay in the Sacred Valley and Cusco in Peru. I am travelling on my own.

Hi Remy, It all depends on what you are looking for. For a nice but reasonably priced hotel in Cusco I would suggest Los Apus which has a great location near the Plaza de Armas. Or if you are looking for a hostel perhaps Pariwana which is a lovelly old colonial mansion. In Sacred Valley I would suggest either the Casa Andina private collection in Urubamba or Hostal Iskay in Ollantaytambo for something a little more basic. I hope this helps. Cheers over 7 years ago

How many hours do I need to see Machu Picchu?

Hi Nicka, I agree with Simon, at least 5 hours or so do really soak up the place and explore all the intersting areas of the site. I climb up Huayna Picchu is also a must! over 7 years ago

Where is the best place to surf in Brazil?

Hi Guilherme, As Felipe says Brazil is a massive country with many great surf spots. I would reccommend Florianopolis though as there are many great beaches on the Island and other places to explore if the waves aren't good. Great nighlife in summer as well! over 7 years ago

What happens to a person if they lose their Yellow Fever certificate and tries to enter Australia after visiting a country like Brazil?

Hi Robert, It is always a good idea to photocopy your certificate and perhaps even scan you you always have a hard copy you can access should you lose the original. If you have lost it you can still contact the place where you got the vaccination from and see if they can fax you a copy. If you can't get this then you may just have to go through some simple questions at the immigration in Australia and then you should be fine. over 7 years ago

When is the best time to avoid tourists on Easter Island?

Hi Nick, Easter Island is an amazing place and definetly worth the visit. If you can go at any time, then low season is from around May to October where there will be far fewer crowds and the Island will be nice and peaceful. If you have to go in summer, then do as Steve suggests and try and get to the sites either early in the morning or late in the afternoon before the cruise tour passengers arrive. over 7 years ago

What is the best way to visit Torres del Paine from El Calafate?

Hi Tania, There are may buses you can take from El Calafate into the national park of Torres del Paine but it depends on what exactly you want to do there. Are you wanting to stay for a few days and maybe do some walks? Or just kind of pass through it just to see it? If you want to stay for a while I highly reccommend staying in the Eco Camp, it is like a luxury campsite in a stunning location with a view to the famous spirals of Torres del Paine. If you want to know more just let me know and I will be happ to help :) over 7 years ago
