Is it safe to two mature women to travel to Kuching and Batang?

Hello, I travelled to Kuching and throughout Malaysia with my mother and we had nothing but positive experiences. Generally we organised small group of personal tours and things, which was alright financially because of the exchange rate, but it made for a fantastic time. I think it depends a lot on what kind of travel you wanted to do, what you wanted to see. I know that we stayed in more upmarket places, but immersed ourselves in the culture during the day, and had a great experience. Some places to go to in Kuching: 1. A little indian cafe down the road from the Hilton hotel. They make the best roti EVER 2. Top Spot. A food-court style seafood restaurant. The most amazing seafood I have had and it is as cheap as chips. I hope that gives you a little insight. over 6 years ago
