Where to eat in Verona, Italy?

If you want to eat typical food I reccommend you: - the restoraunt "Il Duca" (Near Scaligeri Graves): +39045594474 for reservation - Best Pizzeria of Verona: Bella Napoli (it's in Via Marconi) - you don't need reservation. - Best tipical Cafè: Tubino in Corso Portoni Borsari - Pasticceria to eat pastry or cornetto (brioches) with cappuccino: Barini in Corso Porta Nuova or pasticceria Cordioli in Via Cappello - All the bars in Piazza Erbe for an aperitif in the evening - Another good bar with some specialities is Il coloniale in Piazza Viviani - If you want to take a snack near the Arena there is Bar Povia where you can taste Panzerotto, a speciality of my town. Also on www.holiday-verona.com you can find many info about Verona (it's my blog). Enjoy your stay! over 4 years ago

Thinking of going to Italy in November of this year. Even though its cold what are your thoughts

Hi Lucy, late november is cold in general, the first days of the month are ok, in any case it depends on where you go in Italy: in Southern Italy the temperature rarely goes below 0, in Northern Italy it happens often, but from December to February. To give you an example this year during the first week of november there were around 15 degrees (I live in Verona in northern Italy) almost 5 years ago

    April weather in Italy

It really depends on years. Some years can happen it is rainy, but often it is a lovely time to visit Italy, the temperature is over 20 degrees (celsius), not too warm and not cold at all. It is springtime, so it could be sunny too.. I love this time of the year to see cities, in my opinion if you go for historical cities April, May, September and October are the best months. almost 5 years ago

    Where/what to shop in Italy?

It depends on where you go. Every place, also small villages often have typical products. souvenirs are everywhere, in the main squares and in the main streets, I really suggest you to know local people when you travel and ask them where the food is the best, you'll se everybody will help you with advices (also people in the street will be helpful). For clothes I suggest you the outlets where clothes are really cheaper than abroad, especially if you like italian brands. I hope I've been helpful.. Enjoy your travel! almost 5 years ago

I am traveling to Italy and want a cell phone. I have a Verizon Android phone that I understand I can't use. What cell options are there?

I agree with Gianluca, there is also a plan with 3 (tre) where you can get 100 hours of internet for 15€ about 5 years ago

Any advice of accommodation in Italy?

Hi, if you search for a cheap accommodation in Italy you can choose among hostels and apartments. The best way is if you travel with a group of friends, let's say the min price for a good apartment is around 20€ per person (if there are 4 of you). If you are a couple I suggest you the hostels. Consider that the more you want to stay in central position of the center of an italian city, the more you spend. In Rome you should choose to stay in the center because public transport is terrible Milan has a very good underground so everywhere is fine If I were you I would choose a place to visit Northern Italy and another one to visit the center. Two cities that allow you to visit everything by train are Florence and Verona, they are both beautiful and they have good connections by train with Siena, Livorn, Pisa and tuscany in general (florence) and Venice, Mantua, Bologna, Trento, Lake Garda, Treviso, Padua and Vicenza (Verona). By train you need just one hour from those cities to visit other ones. In the southern part I am not an expert, but I love Sicily and its sea. If you need a help for the single cities I know a lot of places for accommodation. about 5 years ago

Do the hotels in Italy, France and spain, provide the iron in the room?

Not in general, they provide laundry service, but this is an extra. If you want the iron there are many apartments that are often better than hotels over 5 years ago
