When the snow will disappear in Montreal Qc Canada?

If climate change keep happening, it will be sooner and sooner. There are already reports that in 50 years, outdoor skating rinks may be a thing of the past. But to actually answer your question: the last snow should be melted by early April. over 5 years ago

Do I need to take any safety precautions when going to Papua New Guinea?

Yes. Don't walk on the streets at night, especially in the large cities. Have a local with you whenever possible. Don't wander around alone. Every bit of land in PNG is privately owned. You don't want to accidentally trespass on tribal land. almost 6 years ago

What are the highlights for a city walk in Quebec?

A Quebec City walk would be so short that everything would be a highlight. Really, it's tiny. But here are a few things to look out for: The cafes and restaurants of Grande Allée The Assemblée Nationale (Quebec parliament) Plans of Abraham Quebec City citadel St. Louis and St. Paul streets Château Frontenac The funicular and the lower city The museum of civilization Make sure you see the boardwalk that goes from the south tip of the citadel to the Chateau Frontenac. If you still have time, check out the St. Roch district. about 6 years ago

What are Internet speeds like in Vietnam?

Internet in Vietnam is just fine. There are lots of internet cafés and most hotels have free wifi. You won't be downloading tons of movies, but it's fast enough for everyday use. over 6 years ago

A weekend trip to Montreal ?

In summer you want to hang around the Plateau for all the sidewalk cafés, especially on St. Denis Street. The Old Port is pleasant to walk around. Rent a bike and ride along the Lachine Canal to Atwater Market. Spend an afternoon in Park Lafontaine or go to St. Helen's island and bike around the park. If you want to go to the "beach", Cap St. Jacques and Oka have pleasant lakes with lots of young attractive people. For winter: find a good bar and lock yourself inside. It's cold! over 6 years ago

Where in South East Asia is the best place to experience white sandy beaches?

You're in Sulawesi? Head for the Togean islands. Pure unspoiled paradise. Elsewhere in Indonesia: Sumba, Timor, Semarang in Java. If you want parties, try Sihanoukville in Cambodia. Stay away from Bali, Nha Trang in Vietnam, and south Thailand. over 6 years ago

What's a nice, non-touristy beach town in Kerala?

I ended up going to Varkala. It's touristy, but it was low season, so it was blissfully calm. And lots of bars to choose from. almost 7 years ago
