What is the must-see places to visit in Seoul, South Korea if I only have 3 days?

Oooh, I love Seoul! Here are my - albeit "unconventional" - favourites in the whole city. Check them out if you can! :) http://www.thevagablond.com/2010/09/20/top-10-seoul-the-unconventional-list/ almost 7 years ago

What's the best way to get tickets for transsibirien train?

Use an agency to get yourself started (I used monkeyshrine.com). You'll need them to help you apply for your Russian and/or Mongolian visa(s), depending on your route. over 7 years ago

Where to stay near Lisbon or Porto?

I tried to find the hostel I stayed at when I was in Porto, but I can't seem to find it. It's been awhile so it may have closed down. My best tip for Porto, if you have time, is to take a train along the Douro river valley - it's beautiful and scenic and an awesome day-trip from the city. As for Lisbon, anywhere near the historical and central area of Lisbon (Baixa) is probably best. Check this one out - I didn't stay there personally but I've heard good things : http://www.hostelworld.com/availability.php/Travellers-House/Lisbon/15588 Might I strongly suggest a trip to the Lagos/ the Algarve?! I had planned on spending 3 nights there and wound up staying over a week in an excellent hostel which I will never forget: http://www.hostelworld.com/availability.php/Residencial-Sol-a-Sol/Lagos/12529 The Algarve was, by far, my favourite place in all of Portugal. Definitely try to get there if you have a chance. :) And Coimbra is excellent too. We stayed here: http://www.hostelworld.com/availability.php/Guesthouse-Casa-Pombal/Coimbra/23504 and they have, to date, the best breakfasts I have tasted in any hostel/hotel in all my travels. :) Check it out if you're swinging by the area. Good luck!! :) about 8 years ago
