I will be in Darwin for a few days in July. What should I do or see?

Hey Barry, July is supposed to be one of the best times to Visit Darwin. Make sure that you make it out to Litchfield National Park and do the Croc Jumping Boat Cruise. Also, spend a few days exploring Kakadu National Park - take a boat ride in the Corroboree billabong to see all the lotuses in bloom, swim at the bottom of the numerous waterfalls, and don't miss the 360 degree lookout point. In Darwin, you can cage dive with crocs at Crocosaurus Cove, catch a movie at the outdoor Deckchair Cinema, or head over to the Mindil Beach markets on Thursday and Sunday nights. It is definitely worth the trip! 4 months ago

Hi all we are going to fly into Barcelona soon and we have approximately 2 weeks in Spain, any suggestions on what we should do?

Bars and Restaurants: Le Quinze Nits (Plaza Real - plaza off of Las Ramblas) - amazing restaurant, you must order dessert and $6 bottles of cava (spanish champagne) Chupitos - boutique shot bar, go for the infamous flaming shots (over 100 to choose from) Cafe de l'Opera - (off of Las Ramblas) order chocolat and churros for breakfast Rabi Pelau (Pig Bar) - local dive, learn salsa and drink guarapitas with the Spaniards Margarita Blue - down the street from Rabi Pelau, good bar atmosphere (get a blue marg) Go to the neighborhood El Borne for cool little cafes, boutiques and restaurants (if you have extra time) There are also a ton of bars on the side streets of Las Ramblas (you can’t go wrong) Do the Gaudi Tour: La Sagrada Familia - the cathedral Parc Guell - my favorite park, I used to live nearby El Batllo La Pedrera aka Casa Mila - make sure you go onto the roof! (if you only have time for one building chose this one over El Batllo) Walking Tours: Walk Las Ramblas - the main major street (day: performance artists, vendors, food / night: beer merchants, drug dealers, hookers) Sit on the steps of Montjuic and watch the magic fountain show at night (music and lights water show) La Boqueria - massive food market off Las Ramblas, get a fruit smoothie at the front Go to Barceloneta beach - lots of tapas bars, nice boardwalk Also, don't forget to drink lots of sangria, try a spanish omelette, and catch a flamenco show! 6 months ago

quickest way out of Siem reap to bangkok

Hey Josh - The quickest way would definitely be to take a bus from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh and then hop a plane from Phnom Penh to Bangkok (quite cheap flights). However, if you choose to bus it, like you said you will have to take a bus to the border and change to a second one to Bangkok. It can be a bit dodgy, so take precautions at night. 7 months ago
