Am I able to make trips back home without affecting my cover?

Hi Susan, Yael from WorldNomads.com here. Our policies for Australian residents have a benefit included called a Homesick Visit, which means that you can return home once (at your own expense) for any non-claimable reason, and then resume your trip under the same policy period once you are ready to continue your travels. This home visit will not change the overall duration of your policy – as the policy will still expire on your nominated end date, unless you decide to buy more cover to stay overseas for longer. It’s best to have a read of the policy wording carefully to make sure you understand what's covered, what's not covered, and any policy limits or conditions to cover. That way you can decide if the cover is right for you (and all of the activities you’ll be doing in Canada). I suggest that you contact our customer services team if you have any specific questions about what's covered and not covered - you can reach them here: https://www.worldnomads.com/contact-us. They are always happy to help. I hope you have an awesome trip! 3 months ago

    flights cancelled, can we rebook?

Hi Jerwin Yael from WorldNomads.com here. Sorry for the delay! We'd like to be able to help you with your question, but first we need to know your policy number and your country of residence as policy coverage differs from country to country. If you haven't already done so, you should email the customer service team through the Contact Us form: http://www.worldnomads.com/contactus.aspx Any more insurance policy questions you might have are best sent directly though to the customer service team (using the above link) rather than through the Ask A Nomad question and answer service (which is better suited to general travel questions). That way your questions will come through to the right area and we can help alot quicker! about 6 years ago

I live in Korea but I am British. Should my country of residence be Britain or Korea? Sorry it's a stupid question but i'm stupid!

Hi there, Yael from WorldNomads.com here! In deciding whether to select South Korea of Britain you should choose the country of residence where you have access to permanent medical care and where you'd be repatriated to if necessary. You must also be legally defined as a permanent resident (not temporary) of that country and have a residential address that you can refer to within that country. You can review who can buy the insurance within the terms and conditions or full description of cover (policy wording) - each one is different and you can review this here: http://www.worldnomads.com/travel-insurance/prices-and-benefits.aspx In general, if you are a permanent resident or citizen of a country, then you can buy our insurance, even if you are travelling in another country. If you have further questions please feel free to send through an email to our customer service team: http://worldnomads.com/contactus.aspx Happy travels! about 6 years ago

Suggestions for low-mid price hotels which border the disneyland park?

Thanks for the tips and hints everyone! I've booked the Marriott (surprisingly cheaper than other hotels directly opposite disneyland) and will either walk over or use the mini train that Rachel mentioned. about 6 years ago

Hi Kate If you are referring to a cooling off period within WorldNomads insurance policies, then the answer is yes! There is a cooling off period after purchase.
