Language Barrier in Buenos Aries?
I speak virtually no Spanish. How will I fare in Buenos Aries? Is English widely spoken?

In the touristic places you should be fine with English over 3 years ago

I would suggest taking the basics in a Spanish lesson. Try out Pimms. Although a large number of people speak English in Buenos Aires, you will be received without a lot more generosity if you at least attempt to speak some Spanish. over 3 years ago

I did not have a problem. As long as you know how to use your hands to describe what you want, you will be fine. about 3 years ago

as long as you are willing to not attempt any dining prior to 11pm on weeknights and if you are willing to consider a half side of cow as your evening entrée, you should be welcomed with open arms in BA. SPANISH CONVERSANT OR NO. about 1 year ago
