Always go direct to the source of the ESTA in this case the US government. Be aware that the visa is valid for 2 years from the date that you are granted the ESTA. There is a charge of approx US$18.00 per person (may have changed) and you will need your credit card, passport and travel information when you apply for it.Don't use a third party website - you are only paying them unnecessary fees!

A lot of businesses on the web will try to charge you to process your ESTA, and they're not too clear about the fact they're offering a service on top of the normal procedure.
The official website is here http://1.usa.gov/13Rq0iM you'll need a credit card to process the $14 fee - you don't need a processing agent, it's really easy. Don't pay more than this.
