Would like to know the best spot on Oxford st to watch the mardi gra as well as the time i would need to plan to get there? Where are the best places to go afterwards?

    This year I watched it from Taylor square. I didn't get there until 5:30ish so I wasn't on the barrier, but the people I was with had brought milk crates so we were able to stand on those and get perfect views. A very useful tip for next year! almost 7 years ago

    Wherever you decide, get there early and be prepared for chaos - the streets get packed with people early on. It finishes up around 9:30pm or so as people head into the oxford street pubs and clubs. almost 7 years ago
