I'll be staying in Cairns for about 10 days and have heard amazing things about Cape Tribulation. Is it worth spending 70 bucks to kayak here? It looks beautiful, but is there a better/cheaper way to enjoy it? Any advice would be appreciated :)

I think you would be better to look in Tully area for kayaking. Cape Trib is amazing, but you can't swim in the sea. Crocs and stingers over 7 years ago

Kayaking is one sport gals actually can get better at than guys as strength and brute force don't translate into better paddling. Most women have way more flexibility in their hips and that's critical to maintaining balance, rolling the boat back up after a capsize, and dealing with rough water conditions. Remember to separate what the upper and lower body is doing in the boat. Don’t stiffen up so you look like a basketball goal post in your boat.
