A nice walk in St. Kilda and there is a Luna Park there for the kids. Totally nice place to spend a weekend. There is also on the main strip a museum of modern film and 3D laboratory for the kids to see how movies are made in all the high tech. There is also the Melbourne Aquarium, totally good fun for the kids. almost 7 years ago

Please note that most of the rides at Luna Park are too scary for five-year olds unless they are very adventurous kids. over 6 years ago

For some places to visit in Melbourne, how about visiting Yarra Valley? The breathtaking scenery as well as the many fun family activities like hot air ballooning and checking out the wildlife species at the Healesville Sanctuary is most recommended. Ok, I have travelled just about over all of this city. The penguins are FREE in the city, so check out the breeding colony of fairy penguins at stkilda pier! Just as it gets dark or just before the sun is up! about 6 years ago
