I've taken it. A ride in first class is scenic, relaxing, but takes a long time. over 5 years ago

A flight shouldn't be expensive if you buy in advance.

I live in Vitória and I can help you if you want. Travelling by a train to BH takes a long time but people say the viewing is beautiful. It's almost the same price than travelling by bus. over 5 years ago

It is the cheapest option. If you prefer enjoy the landscape. But I agree: it's not good option in Brazil. over 5 years ago

I just done this trip for the second time, travelling in the executive class is very good, the cars have conditioned air, there is a guy who serves food passing almost every minute (the food is sold, not free). The chairs are very confortably and the train is cleaned frequently during the trip. The entire voyage takes about 13 hours from one point to another. And you can see a lot of unique landscapes during the trip. That is very beautifull! It is not recommended to travell in the economic class, were there is no conditioned air, the chairs are less confortably and the cleaning is less frequent. If you want company in your trip, contact me. I love this train trip! over 5 years ago
