We want to visit the Pantanal in January 2015. Would you recommend Mato Grosso or Mato Grosso do Sul at this time of year? We're travelling from Foz do Iguacu. Which part of Pantanal has the best chances for animal encounters and which has the shortest and easiest travel time from Iguacu? We are going for a wildlife experience and seeing jaguars, alligators, monkeys, anteaters etc. We want to stay in a lodge.
