    Hi Artur,

Knowing me, I'd spend most of my days walking and exploring. However, if you're looking for something a little more structured, www.UrbanAdventures.com have a bunch of tours you could try - http://www.urbanadventures.com/destination/rio_de_janeiro_tours - and www.Viator.com also have a bunch of other activities that you can book - http://www.viator.com/Rio-de-Janeiro/d712-ttd. over 3 years ago

Santa Teresa. Definitely the best place in Rio. Took the "bondinho" and get a nice meal there. I would recommend a feijoada. over 3 years ago

    • The bondinho is still closed following a serious accident with several fatalities http://riotimesonline.com/brazil-news/rio-real-estate/construction-continues-as-santa-teresa-bonde-is-delayed/# ZB 3 months ago
    • I second the idea of visiting Santa Teresa for lunch. After lunch go to the Museu da Chácara do Céu http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santa_Teresa,_Rio_de_Janeiro ZB 3 months ago

I stayed in Río Ritz hostel (www.rioritz.com.br) ask for Luis Fernando de Souza. It's very nice and it's two blocks from the beach! It's not that expensive too. I recomend visit the corcovado but not by taxi, it's better walking. Also go to lapa, there're very nice bars around and definitely have to go to santa teresa to see the escada colorida selaron. • Yes!! My favourite is Rio Cenariuum. Great live music, adequate food, highish prices and long queues to get in after 10.30pm www.rioscenarium.com.br/ ZB 3 months ago
