Knowing me, I'd spend most of my days walking and exploring. Go to the engenhao to see a soccer match, meet ipanema's beach, the lagoon, the sugar loaf, Cristo Redentor By trakking, have breakfast at Confeitaria Colombo in downtown, meet a samba's house in lapa, meet the Bothanical garden... almost 2 years ago

Go hang gliding! You can hire a tandem flyer off the beach and it's an unforgettable experience :) almost 2 years ago

Santa Teresa. Definitely the best place in Rio. Took the "bondinho" and get a nice meal there. I would recommend a feijoada. almost 2 years ago

I stayed in Río Ritz hostel (www.rioritz.com.br) ask for Luis Fernando de Souza. It's very nice and it's two blocks from the beach! It's not that expensive too. I recomend visit the corcovado but not by taxi, it's better walking. Also go to lapa, there're very nice bars around and definitely have to go to santa teresa to see the escada colorida selaron. Awesom! almost 2 years ago
