Looking for advice and recommendations to spend two weeks in Burma. Where are the safe places that I can travel - and are there any specific warnings or dangers I should know about?

    Two weeks isn't long considering the country isn't that easy to get around. Obvious choices would be Bagan temples (excellent) and Inle Lake (also excellent) - but you can't miss the Swedagon Pagoda in Yangon either. The areas down the south coast weren't open when we were last there but they are now apparently, which might be worth exploring. about 6 years ago
