Check out all the little neighbourhoods. City is very diverse and eclectic. There are all the areas like Little India, Little Italy, Chinatown, Greektown etc - you can travel the world in this city. Kensington market, Queen West, Leslieville, Broadview Village, Bloor West, Danforth, Roncesvale, Distillery District - these all have great shops (local designers)and restaurants and places to hang out. Old York area around St Lawrence market for history. Beaches and Queen's Quay for waterfront. Lots of small live music venues - Cadillac Lounge, Reservoir Lounge, Cameron House, Dakota Lounge, Dominion House, Gladstone, Rex, Grossman's Tavern... Theatre district for big productions or small local theatres (like Soulpepper Theatre in Distillery district, Factory Theatre). Lots of Festivals - check out Now Magazine online or Blog TO - both great for upcoming events. Blog TO great for calendar. All price ranges of restaurants. Art galleries - AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario), Queen and Ossington area, King East.

My favorite restaurants are kultura, Jacobs, brassaii for Sunday brunches, spice route, wabora and late night I love going to the counter at the Thompson hotel. Things to do would be wonderland, centre island, take a canoe out from queens quay, eaton centre shopping, visit the Danforth, I love local restaurant and Mesennies for take out. Also check out college street and little Italy, china town, Kensington market, distillery district. over 5 years ago

If you're looking for good food, head to Little Italy (College and Bathurst area) and dine on one of their patios. Kensington Market has a wide variety of shops and restaurants and is cheap! If you want to bar hop, head to King Street West (King and Portland) or five minutes west of there to Ossington Avenue. For shopping, visit the Eaton Centre or Queen Street West for more electic finds. As far as sights to see, of course there is the CN Tower, Centre Island (take the ferry at Harbourfront to access it), the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Distillery District (Front and Parliament) and the Beaches neighbourhood.
