Probably best way is to rent a car. You can catch a train or shuttle bus down, but the hours don't give you much time to see the sights. If you come down by car, you can see much more from the actual falls area to Niagara on the Lake, which is a quaint little town along lake ontario. There are also wineries to visit if you're so inclined.

Not easy to see much but the falls area without a car. about 7 years ago

    Hi Magik,

I agree with Herk. There's loads of nice places to see along the way, as well. If you're into aircraft or aviation at all. (not everyone is but I am a bit of a geek when it comes to that stuff) Then there is a great museum at Mt Hope near Hamilton. There used to be a really good Go-Kart track there as well but its a few years ago now.. You can also get off the highway and cruise down Lakeshore which is much nicer with lots of interesting things to discover along the way. about 7 years ago

I would say renting a car would be cheaper. But if you don't feel like driving 2 hours, I think Greyhound goes to Niagara. over 5 years ago

I have also taken visitors there using a tour (I recommend Chariots of Fire). It's a full day tour where they take you to the main sites there: Skylon tower, the falls, complete with Maid of the Mist ride (a Must!), and a visit to a vineyard. almost 5 years ago
