Just walking through the old city will be enough for an unforgettable day trip. Make sure to include the citadel. For restaurants, just pick a little French bistro that looks warm and inviting. almost 11 years ago

A day trip is definitely enough time to see the entire city of Quebec City. There are tons of places to eat around the city. Although make sure to look at prices before going in. While there I noticed that most places were expensive- like 10-15 dollars for a burger. There are some cheap places but you have to look for them. If you don't speak any or much French make sure to learn the names of any food you are allergic too or food you can't eat or you don't like. While there are some people that speak English there- every one is not fluent and if they do speak English sometimes it is really broken. Also if you want to get some good pictures of the city there is a ferry that goes over to the other side cost like 5 for a round trip. I hope you enjoy your stay!!! over 7 years ago
