I’m heading to Colombia for 3 weeks; I’m looking for any ‘must see’ spots for an active travelle. I love hiking, photography, learning about culture and good coffee. I speak almost no Spanish but would like to see some local/ more authentic places!
Of course i’ve done research for this trip, I’m hoping to connect with people who have had experiences (as opposed to just looking at travel books or blogs)
Any advice or recommendations are greatly appreciate TIA
The Ciudad Perdida trek is the obvious choice. Near Santa Marta/Minca/Parque Tyrona. It's 4 days and you need to hire a tracking company (~$350USD). It goes through forest, indigenous communities, and over some small mts, culminating in some whimsical ruins known as the Ciudad Perdida, or Lost City. Highly recommended if you can budget the time/money 3 days ago
