I'm going to Costa Rica in August for 25 or so days and I'd like to know where to go and what would be activities to do, and also maybe festivals or traditional parties we could go to. We're an active and adventurous couple that would be looking for the non typical places everyone's goes to as well. Any sorta information or recommendations would be awesome. I'm all ears! Thank you
I went to Costa Rica last September and I have fallen COMPLETELY in love with that place! "Pura Vida" gets deeply into your soul and you'll take it home with you... if you go home, that is. Seriously, I could live there!
If you happen to go to La Fortuna, there are so many awesome touristy and non-touristy things to do in and around the Arenal Volcano.
Catarata La Fortuna (La Fortuna Waterfall) is especially cool due to the "unique" way you go about seeing it (not going to spoil the surprise). I highly recommend going to Catarata Eco Lodge restaurant for lunch. Order "Casadas"
The "Hanging Bridges Tour" at Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park is awesome!
Costa Rica is the birthplace of zip-lining (or so I was told) and they have some EPIC lines at Adventure Arenal (I think that's the name). If you're into that sort of thing... GO FOR IT!
I didn't get to go to any coffee farms but I hear they are awesome too. That's on the agenda for the next time I go :)
I hope that helps! Have a marvelous trip! 8 months ago
Costa Rica remains a popular tourist destination and is the Disney world of Central America. A few days ago I had visited this country with the help of Tamarindo Shuttle Transfers And Tours. From my travel experience, I would like to mention some of the best places to visit in Costa Rica. Just check out these:
2. Poás Volcano National Park
3. Arenal Volcano National Park
4. Jaco’s beach
5. Ballena Bay
Happy journey. 6 months ago
