In September I'm travelling to a few central american countries, Cuba in particular, and wanted to get some ideas on what to do/where to go on the trip. Pretty unplanned so any suggestions in that region welcome!

I been there last year. I recomend claritas and orlands house in la habana. Www.claritayorlando.com
Then, we went to pinar del rio province. Nice, quite and rural enviroment. I recomend you also "trinidad", a traditional colonial spanish style village. Good trova music and greats mojitos.
If you are interested in cuban revolution, go to santa clara and matanzas day tour.
Santiago is also very interested, but sometimes is little far to be included in short itineraries. over 2 years ago
