Leaving Cinque Terra, heading to Genoa then trying to get across to Nice/Monaco.

    Trains are terrible at the moment. There are strikes all the time and the timetables are a mess. Genoa and Nice both have airports so there might be flights but it would cost a bit. Your best option is probably to hire a car. If you drive on the Autostrada it will cost you about 20 Euros in tolls but it is definitely worth it because it is much much faster. If you feel like driving a bit faster you can get away with it in Italy too, nobody seems to care if you do 150km/h. about 6 years ago
