    HI Joe. France doesn't seem to have a great national bus service, so it would be advisable to use rail for long distances. From Hendaye, I'd suggest a regional train to Bordeaux and then travel via TGV to Paris. There are a few trains that leave Bordeaux very early in the morning and at least three leave around 4pm. Check out Rail Plus and Rail Europe websites to check timetables as there could be more trains available while airlines are grounded. Good luck! :-) over 6 years ago

    You can get the TGV out of Bayonne (taxi ride from Hendaye) to Paris. Book on Rail Europe site. Easier to use than SNCF site. over 6 years ago
