We are a peer group from Norway who are going to Normandy in the spring of 2011.
I do have a couple of questions regarding our trip:
1. the last months I have been looking to find a company that hires out minibuses with more than 9 seats (11 - 15 seats). I have not succeded. Can anyone help me. We are flying in to Aéroport Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle
2. Underneath have I outlined our route. Does anyone have good tips on things we should enjoy along the route I have described. Distinctive places to stay, things to see and experience?
The first day we want visit Versailles on our trip to Rouen. In Rouen, we will look at the tomb of Rollo, look at what's worth seeing in town and stay overnight.
The next day we will follow the Cider Route, visit a Calvados Producer and town of Camembert. We intend to stay the second night on the road to, or in Bayeux.
Third day in Bayeux, we will look at the carpet and the D-Day beaches. We hope to reach Saint-Malo before dark and stay there over night.
The Fourth day we will visit the Mont Saint-Michel, on the road to Le Mans. In Le Mans we will experience the legendary race track and maybe try it if it is possible. We intend to stay in Le Mans, or somewhere along the road to Paris.
The Fifth day we drive to Paris where we stay overnight and experience the culinary aspects of the city.
I am grateful for tips and advices on the description above.
My name is Ricardo and rather than answer your question above I was wondering if you could give me some advice as I am arriving in Paris this August with another 12 friends and we are also looking for a minibus self drive. Do you have any tips for us.
Thank you in advance
