No worries, French polynesia and New Caledonia are French, so the schools! You have more chance to find teachers in Papeete which is the capital on the island of Tahiti. I guess you can check out for courses at the tourist office,Or at least they help you out! Back packing in French polynesia is not the easiest thing, since it s mainly hotels and resort for honeymooners. You could check the family pension especially one in Bora Bora called pension Chez NONO. No kidding the best beach on earth. Have fun there, its a lovely place with very humble people. over 5 years agoAnswered by Ben via WorldNomads.com
The best places for scuba divers are Tahiti, Moorea, Tetiaroa, Bora Bora, Tikehau, Fakarava, and Rangiroa. The latter three are in the remote Tuamotus and have amazing pass dives to offer. Sun and beaches can be found on all of them. You'll hardly have kids around anywhere, as it's a very expensive destination, and most visitors are couples.
