    Yes, amazing and deliberately expensive - to keep the place 'exclusive'.

    Yes expensive and touristy. I prefer the outer islands which are much more private, authentic and less expensive. over 4 years ago

    Yes, those bungalows are romantic and amazing. But also highly overprized. Make sure you stay in one that only has a couple of bungalows, otherwise you might feel like in a chicken farm. The big resort chains all have around 100 bungalows, which takes away from the exclusivity in my opinion.
    Also, be aware that if you stay in one of the bungalows, you will not have a lot of contact with the local population. For that, I would recommend staying in a fare (pension). These are also waaaaay cheaper.
    In general, I think you should first decide on which island you want to visit, as they are all unique. Read it, and then decide where your trip should go to!
