Anyone with direct experience taking Spanish lessons in Guatemala? We are looking for classes lasting 1-2 weeks, including shelter and meals for cheap.

    I can tell you places. You can study up in the mountains which is nice - Todos Santos. You will get to stay with a family with all your meals included.

    The most popular place is Antigua, a very pretty city with good culture.
    Lots of schools there.

    I'm pretty sure you can study somewhere around Lake Titikaka too. Peaceful and pretty spot. over 7 years ago

    I second xela, or somewhere in lake atitlan. A great alternative, further north w more mountain culture and way better coffee is Coban. A 5 hr bus from antigua. over 4 years ago
