I will probably be in Ireland from January until after summer next year and I would really like to experience an Irish festival.

What are some recommendations?

    go to www.visitdublin.com, it covers everything that is going on in Dublin. also ther is a really cool app for download from there that gives you all the information you need with live event updates too

    also, www.discoverireland.com is a great resource for finding events about 6 years ago

    I agree with the above suggestions and would also add
    Puck Fair in Killorglin,
    Listowel Writers Week
    Rose of Tralee Festival.
    All of the above take place in Co. Kerry about 6 years ago

    The Cuirt literary festival in Galway attracts many famous writers, Irish and otherwise. It's open the public, and you can hear the authors reading from their works. You can usually meet them too. Takes place in April over 5 years ago
