We are ending our 2 week Italy trip on the Amalfi coast. Right now we are thinking about 2 nights in either Positano or Amalfi and then the 3rd night on Capri. Which is better to stay in, Positano or Amalfi? Any suggestions are much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Personally, I 'd recommend staying in Amalfi and taking the bus to Positano. Amalfi is much larger, has more restaurants and shops, for example. We did just what I've suggested - stayed in Amalfi, bused to Positano. over 5 years ago

We always stay in Ravello , but Positano and Amalfinare pretty .very close you have to discover it for yourself , can't go wrong with any of those places . If you stay in Ravello you are in the middle of Amalfi coast. If you are driving ( which is not the easiest ) you can stay in any of those towns , I think it's the prettiest of all Italy and I have been almost everywhere by now . Have fun and enjoy it ! over 5 years ago

We stayed in the little town of Praiano. It is tiny, picturesque and inexpensive. It is located between Amalfi and Positano and we were able to use the bus system to get to the other towns. over 5 years ago
