    It depends on how long you are staying, but here are some of my favorite places. But again, keep asking because Tuscany is full of wonders:

    - Maranello [Ferrari factory and track, you're likely to hear the "violin" testing on track from the freeway]
    - Barberino Val D’Elsa (Restaurant Pio VII + Wine/Oil Canteen)
    - San Gimignano [Bar Sopra I Tetti]
    - Lajatico [get info for Bocelli's Teatro del Silenzio, experience worth living]
    - Volterra
    - Cecina
    - Orbetello, Porto Ercole

    Smaller cities and towns, and dont be afraid to just find your own. We just stayed in Chuisi and loved it. Very hard to find a bad meal, so take a chance. about 5 years ago
