My friend transferred flight at Tokyo airport Oct., 2011, I was worried that he might get some radioactive material on his cloths..., and it might be possilbe to pass it to me when we make contacts. Would this be possilbe?
LMAO @ David. Sorry but not only is the radiation you get for going for a holiday to Tokyo quite minimal, but getting it from a friend who just visited the airport???! LOL! over 8 years agoAnswered by lolwat via WorldNomads.com
I've been living in Tokyo for almost 3 years now and neither my family or I have experienced any side effects or problems from the radiation. The U.S. military in the area gave out iodine for us to take if it became necessary but they never told us to take it because the radiation levels were so minimum. All of our aircraft going out had to be screened for radiation and the numbers were too low for anyone to worry about! about 8 years ago
