It is cheaper and easier to use rail, but Umeda or Shin-Osaka station would have endless places you can buy tickets. Although the fast Shinkansen which leaves every 30 minutes during the day is the fastest way to travel between those cities. If you really want a bus trip get a multi-day pass like here http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2369.html and it should allow for non-consecutive days. about 6 years ago

    • I really don't think it's cheaper to catch Shinkansen... Easier but not cheaper. It's about 5500 yen minimum on Shinkansen but 2500 yen -3000 yen on the bus. However, you pay for what you get: it takes 1 hr on the Shinkansen but 3hrs on the bus (however, the bus has VIDEO GAMES! EEE see below) Tina about 6 years ago

Check out www.willerexpress.com it's in English and their busses are cheap and have video screens and computer games in the back of the seats. Directions to where you catch the bus are easy too. about 6 years ago
