    I wouldn't bother with anything unless you have 6 hours between flights if doing it yourself.

    You can also arrange tours from the airport at http://www.narita-airport.jp/en/travel/tours/index.html These are, I think, all one-day tours that run from 9:00a.m.-7:00p.m. almost 10 years ago

    Narita itself has basically nothing except for the airport. But if you have at least 5 hours lay over (half a day would be better) you can take the train into Tokyo for a meal or sightseeing. almost 10 years ago
