That really depends on what you planning on doing in Kenya and what you plan on doing with the iPad. We took an iPad to 24 countries around the world, Kenya being one of them. It was our only communication device with family and friends at home. In Kenya, along with a few other countries, we also got a sim card to use data on the iPad when we didn't have access to wifi. So, if you are wondering about the safety about bringing an iPad to Kenya, you'll have no problems. Just like any other place you travel to, you'll want to be smart and keep it safe. You don't need to make a big deal that you have an iPad.
