Has anyone got some recommendations for activities in Luang Prabang and who was good at providing them?

We did an elephant riding and kayaking day with Tiger Trails in Luang Prabang. They weren't the cheapest - though there wasn't a huge amount of difference - but their elephants were really well cared for, and we got heaps of time to ride them sitting up on the shoulders and feeding them. We've also been kayaking on the Nam Ou river there with Green Discovery Tours and that was a lot of fun as well. You can book all this sort of stuff as you go on the main street in Luang Prabang. over 7 years ago

You can also try a historic Henri Mouhot's trail organized by Villa Maly or living with the minority people Kamu at the Kamu lodge. about 5 years ago
