These days visitors plan and drive straight to the park, simple & easy. Just google and book yr accommodation online based on reviews.

The tours are actually provided by private operators located outside the park n they Also run the floating restaurants opposite the park entrance located across the river. Only activities within the park are organized by the park.

Cheap accommodations range from RM40 per room, mainly for back packers. The rainforest Resort is a more comfortable option for guests with children.

Th regular visitors normally stay 2-3 nights at most while those looking more unique experience (tracking deeper into the forest, watching more elusive animals deeper in the jungle or exploring caves further into the park) will stay an additional 5-7 days.

Don't worry, just rent a car and drive straight to the park and figure the rest later (as long as it is not within a public holiday or a long weekend). I did just that and I had a wonderful time without any long wait in line for my turn on the park facilities.Hv fun n enjoy! about 5 years ago
