    The hotel restaurants are priced at the same level as Europe, local restaurants vary - follow the locals, and you will find delicious food for very reasonable prices. Try the guys on the road side selling briyani, roti, chapatti and mine frite (like chop suey). Enjoy! over 4 years ago

    Flic and Flac is a nice area with a nice beach. There's a few restaurants and bars that are reasonably priced being that it is somewhat of a tourist area but also a local hangout. If you are trying the local food then it might be cheaper than some of the western food, also local beer is cheaper as well. Cocktails tend to be a little pricier. All in all Mauritius is generally not a cheap island to visit or backpack through. More a getaway of luxury or honeymoons you know what I mean. Beautiful Island though and a must visit I would say. over 4 years ago

    Flic en flac very nice place and with only two euro you can have food and also very nice beach by the way you can visit some hotels in the area . about 4 years ago

    well we have only two season winter and summer but in winter its only 17deg . all the way can from south to north you can see very and very beautiful things such as mountain flora and fauna, population about 1.200000, about 4 years ago

    Price same as in Europe.. sometimes more expensive. Just check out where locals eat ! over 3 years ago
