My husband and I are going to Mongolia. Our journey will be through the course of the river Chuluut in the Khalgai Mountains. We are planning the travel route, we'll go in September, can you give us your opinion? ;)

Thanks!!!!

    Hello Anna,

Visit explore-mongolia.com to have more detailed info's about Mongolian landscape, culture and history. I would say September is also a nice time to visit Gobi in Mongolia. You can combine maybe your Khangai trip with Gobi. It is depending on your time and interest.

The recommended months to go are June to August because it does get very very cold there. If you can handle extreme cold go! over 4 years ago

We were there last week. We actually stayed with nomads in their Gur and sampled home cooked food. Ulan Baattar is crazy with a great vibe. The History Museum is fascinating and VERY informative. Best souvenir shopping is on 5th floor of Department Store. If you want to buy cashmere make sure you check the quality. BEWARE PICKPOCKETS!!!! They are rife. over 4 years ago
