I've been to morocco two years ago. Does not look dangerous but I would not flash money or a fancy camera outside of the medinas. It is a god idea to hire a guide. Medina in Fez has like 900 streets. And the guide will charge like 30 euro the whole day. about 7 years ago

I have taken my camera all over Morocco over a four year period. About to head back. No problems at all. I agree about not flashing your money around. I have only had one thing stolen and that was in a crowded shop. My bag was stolen by a lady(???) in a full black covering. I was visiting friend and had set it down for a minute. So my advice is just to keep your stuff close and have a great time! Morocco is an amazing place for photography!! about 7 years ago
